MIXING FROM 500 ML TO 20 LITERS (5 GALLONS)

Scott Lab Mixers offer our customers a realistic tool for testing, scaling, and mixing small production batches. Built with the same continuous duty standards instilled in our larger models, our lab models will ensure your batch is mixed thoroughly, quickly and consistently.

We offer three standard lab models to give your lab or pilot plant flexibility: XML, ML, and LA-1. These units are designed to mix from 250 ml (8 oz) to 20 Liters (5 Gallons).

• XML will mix from 250 ml (8 oz) to 4 Liters (1 Gallon)
• ML will mix from 1 Liter (1 Quart) to 12 Liters (3 Gallons)
• LA-1 will mix up to 20 Liters (5 Gallons)

Scott Lab Mixers come standard as bench-top models that are fully wired and programmed with a variable speed drive. They operate with push button actuated lifts, allowing for adjustable mixing head height and for multiple tank sizes.

Lab models come standard with three interchangeable Turbon heads. Added features are available on a custom basis such as: stainless steel carts, vacuum/pressure vessels, timing, heating/cooling, data recording and additional agitation. Disperser Blades and custom impellers can also be supplied for use with the STM lab mixers.

The XML and ML use 115V single phase power, while the LA-1 requires 230V, 3 phase power as standard. Optional voltage packages are available upon request.

L-HSM-3

Our L-HSM unit is a small Inline Shear Pump for lab use and testing. This unit is designed for 2-to 25 gpm, and can replace the effects of a homogenizer in some applications. This packaged unit comes ready for R&D with controls, stainless stand, and two rotor/stator sets, for adjusting the amount of shear. This unit can be used with single or three phase power.
