Mixer Selection Data
Selection of the proper Scott Turbon Mixer model,
size and motor HP depends upon several factors: vessel capacity,
batch size, viscosity, specific gravity, % of solids and degree
of agitation required. This table is based upon batch size and viscosities
and should be used as a guide only. The factory should be consulted
on all applications.

Use this chart as a guide
only. Many factors contribute to mixer size including: specific
gravity, stickiness, viscosity, mixer placement in the tank, other
agitation in the tank, hydrophobic or hydrophyllic properties and
how the liquid behaves under shear. (shear thinning/thickening) |
