Particle size reduction is essential when processing pigments, which allows the smallest particles in the formula to bond with pigment particles. Scott Turbon Mixer has become an industry leader in particle size reduction equipment. Without going to expensive homogenizing equipment, we can solve you team’s pigment-mixing problems with our new inline mill.
Out Top-Mounted mixers can provide up to 3-5 micron particle size, while our Inline mixers can provide, on average, 2 micron particle size. Depending on the product, and the quality desired, Scott Turbon Mixer recommends a pre-mix system. This pre-mix system allows the product to be mixed initially with a Top-Mounted mixer, and is then followed by recirculation provided by our HSP, or HSM, Inline Mixers.
